Conference to focus on data center sustainability in Copenhagen

Data Centers Denmark is taking place on the 23 May 2023 at the Marriott Hotel in Copenhagen.

This year’s focus is on data center sustainability and efficiency, highlighting the Nordic proposition as a leading hub for green data centers in Europe.

The conference is organized by the Danish Data Center Industry and seeks to tackle the pressing issue of escalating data center energy usage in the world.

The event is set to gather business, operations and technology experts from the data center and energy sectors together with regulators and research institutions, to discuss how to work towards the SDG’s as an industry.

“We are excited to be back once again in Copenhagen, gathering industry leaders to discuss the pressing issues of data center energy usage as AI and other energy-intensive applications are going mainstream”, says Merima Dzanic, Head of Strategy and Operations at the Danish Data Center industry.

Danish Data Center Industry Awards Show 2023

On the evening of the conference on the 22 May 2023, the Danish Data Center Industry Awards show is taking place once again, which will shine a light on the outstanding projects, innovations, technologies, partnerships, people, and teams that have made a difference within the regional industry the past year.

The categories for the 2023 award show include Sustainable Data Center Project, Tech Innovation, Construction Team, Young Talent, Contribution to Society and DDI Dedication Award.
