DDI has teamed up with the Nordic Data Center Industry associations to represent the Nordics in a new ‘Nordic Data Center Pavilion’.

Henrik Hansen, CEO of Danish Data Center Industry, explains: “We believe the Nordics will absorb a large part of the AI workloads in the coming years, and Denmark is a strong contender to be the hub for AI investments and workloads in the next 2-3 years .The strong ecosystem in Denmark, combined with reliable and sustainable energy sources, mild climate, and our advanced district energy network, makes Denmark the ideal location for data centers of the future.”

The Nordics are also part of the official congress program. The panel “Why should workloads move to the Nordics” has Isabelle Kemlin, (Business and Innovation Executive, RISE and vice-chair, Swedish Datacenter Industry) representing the Nordic trade associations.

With more and more companies looking to deploy data center capacity to the Nordics, the panel will explore the growth in the region, including why enterprises are moving AI and HPC workloads, and how the Nordics are ahead when it comes sustainable and available power.
