Datacloud Global Congress 2024 will see over 2,500 senior decision makers gathering in the heart of the French Riviera, Cannes, to network, close deals and gain insights from world-class digital infrastructure experts.
DDI has teamed up with the Nordic Data Center Industry associations to represent the Nordics in a new ‘Nordic Data Center Pavilion’.
At the joint pavilion, DDI will be ready to discuss why hyper-scalers such as Apple, Meta, and Google have already chosen Denmark, and why the Danish data center industry continues to be a high-growth market.
Henrik Hansen, CEO of Danish Data Center Industry, explains: “We believe the Nordics will absorb a large part of the AI workloads in the coming years, and Denmark is a strong contender to be the hub for AI investments and workloads in the next 2-3 years .The strong ecosystem in Denmark, combined with reliable and sustainable energy sources, mild climate, and our advanced district energy network, makes Denmark the ideal location for data centers of the future.”
Don’t miss: Panel about moving workloads to the the Nordics
The Nordics are also part of the official congress program. The panel “Why should workloads move to the Nordics” has Isabelle Kemlin, (Business and Innovation Executive, RISE and vice-chair, Swedish Datacenter Industry) representing the Nordic trade associations.
With more and more companies looking to deploy data center capacity to the Nordics, the panel will explore the growth in the region, including why enterprises are moving AI and HPC workloads, and how the Nordics are ahead when it comes sustainable and available power.
