The collaboration kicks off with a webinar on 3 April, continues with Irish participation in Data Centers Denmark conference & exhibition on 15 May, where Enterprise Ireland and Digital Infrastructure Ireland join as partners, and culminates with a study exchange trip to Dublin, Ireland in the autumn 2025.
The combination of in-person and virtual events provides the opportunity for a deep-dive into the respective markets. The varied program allows participants to explore a wide range of topics, including legislation, investments, partnerships, and specific market-based challenges.
Ireland is a leading center of excellence for building, software and technological innovation. There may be a defacto moratorium on new data centers being built in Ireland, but that doesn’t mean the Irish data center industry is resting. In fact, Digital Infrastructure Ireland Partners are responsible for exporting approximately 10.8 billion euros worth - each year.
Denmark, part of the up-and-coming Nordic market, is expected to be a region of growth, with significant workloads coming to the region. With subsea cables, high connectivity, a reliable grid, and heat reuse as the default, the Nordics are ahead of their time when it comes to sustainability, and the market is expected to double in the coming years.
In this webinar, Garry Connolly of Digital Infrastructure Ireland and Henrik Hansen from Danish Data Center Industry will explore market conditions in Ireland and Denmark, aligning the dots for opportunities across borders.
The webinar will be moderated by Karin Angus from Enterprise Ireland.
